JWM
Hi, My first this year, build within Martime Patrol & CC GB. This is Consolidated Coronado PB2Y5 in colours of US NAVY VPB-15, which was based at the end of WWII on Saipan. Small improvments of kit were done, the build was reported here: Some modifications to model are done. Among them: removed original wide frames on canopy, new exhaust pipes, rear turret from Italeri B24, decals by Techmod (numbers) and stars from drawer (Aeroscale and Tamiya if I recognized them well) - the original stars had shifted white so it was used only on bottom. BTW - the box wing stars were too large, if you compare with photos. The company logos on props were not used since on photos I do not see them. Comments welcome Regards Jerzy-Wojtek 37

adey m
Fantastic to see a Coronado built up so well, a subject that you do not see often if hardly ever. And again great to see that Mach 2 models can be built up into something impressive that other kit producers will not entertain. Thank you J- W. best regards adey

Blue Monday
A brave endeavour, tackling that kit but well worth it, judging by the finished model. It's hard to beat a flying boat from the period between the 30's and 50's. Well done. BM.

kapam
That's amazing! From what I hear about Mach2 kits, that must've taken an awful lot of work. It certainly paid off!
jeaton01
Very nice. I'm glad to see one built as it gives me confidence I might survive the kit I have😨
