Brilliant finish G. As for the glue error, you really can’t tell in the pictures, she looks stunning. I picked the box up in the LMS yesterday. £39 😮 so I put it back again. 🤣

I’ll be content with my stash for now.

As for the jet I was going for the Fiat. Alas.

I’ll look forward to it regardless my friend.

All the best.

Johnny.

You should be able to guess it right, more than others....

Here's another clue: this aircraft is also flown by other countries...

 Ciao

Then, as I anticipated much earlier in this thread, I put together the engine assembly, with the intention of using it for a future C205 build - it basically is a DB605 engine, after all

I thought the Ki 61 was powered by a DB 601 though.

Excellent Tony -- oops, I mean, Hien!

I'm finding the comparison between Tamiya's 1/48 kit with their smaller (1/72) version to be very interesting.

(I recently completed the 1/72 version, RFI is here:

Correct, my mistake. It was a Japanese "improved" version of the DB601. My plan of using it for a C205 is not to show the whole engine, but to at least use the back part, since it's very visible from the main wheel well and almost identical to the DB605

Thanks Bill! The smaller version is incredibly well detailed, and you did a great job with it 👏
