Gidday Beefy, I have to agree with JohnWS above. And that stone wharf is looking more and more life-like (if a stone wharf could¬†ūüėÄ).¬†

Those books have got me intrigued. Regards, Jeff.

Thank you Jeff trying to get it to look like some holiday snaps I have from around the Mediterranean

The books should come in handy for a couple of future builds I have planned and to build up my little library.

Got some work done on the crane and water now trying to work out final position.

Nice work Beefy, looking very realistic. You have obviously learnt something from Kev's @longshanks dio work.

He has indeed, I can't see a seagull anywhere! Lovely diorama though.

Gidday Beefy, very well done, and on a subject that I don't recall seeing a lot of models of. It's something different. The stone pier is very well done, and that water looks rather inviting. Regards, Jeff.

Gent's thank you for the kind comments and just to keep @Martian happy I have been trying my hand at some sculpting think it looks more like a hawk than a Gull but we will give it a go.

You could run some copies off for @longshanks, I'm sure he would appreciate the gesture.

And there was me thinking he who shall not be named was like that already.  :coolio:

Sorry Kev but thought for a bit of fun I would include it not a perfect match but close enough for me.

I think that I need more practice with my sculpting.

Beefy - I think it looks the Bizz - though I'm not certain they have yellow beaks (do they:shrug:)

Rob

Well Rob it is a bit like RN destroyers different types now I am not a fully fledged twitcher but I do like to do a bit of bird spotting while out with the wife and dog enjoying our local countryside and just to show I did do some research on the subject here is my reference material well not mine it is the wife's as she likes to spot how many little feathered friends we have at the feeders in our garden.  :nerdy:

Just found this gem of a build Beefy. Love the sub, love the scenic quayside, love the crane and love the gull!

Just brilliant.
