Marlin
OK then. Here are the top three restaurants I visited during my five weeks stay, and I'd visit them again. *Peppersack, great food and drink. The restaurant is located in a medival merchants building very close to the Town Hall Square. A must is to try their homebrewed beer. Link to my review on Google Maps. *Trattoria La Bottega. Superb Italian food, the best I've ever had actually. Link to my review on Google Maps. *Argentiina Restoran. If grilled meat, steaks are your thing, this is a must visit. I went there twice during my stay, and I'd love to get back. Link to my review on Google Maps. The Sky Bar, Lounge24 on the top of Radisson Blu Sky is a great place for drinks with a great view of the Old Town. Try the Strawberry Daquari. Link to my review on Google Maps. Hope you'll have a nice stay in Tallinn. /Bosse

So more tape is needed, 104 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The plan is to clear coat this one this evening, and during Sunday to put on all the decals. Marlin
Thanks Steve. My son is bulding Zvezdas 1/72 version of this, and both of them are absolutely fantastic kits. Some features are missing in 1/72 but not much. I'll soon start my third Mitten. I just have to get all the decals done on this one. /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. All the Algerian decals are now on, and I've started with the stencils. 111 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 112 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I really like Zvezdas decals, it must be Begemot who does them because the feel, looks and behaves like Begemot decals. The wing walk line decal is in one piece and it shows no tendency for silvering. 113 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr To be continued..... /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. I'm done with all stencils and decals on the Algerian Mitten. I actually counted them and there are 152 stencils/decals in total. 114 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 115 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 116 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And you can actually read them when you set the camera to macro. I'll put some clear coat to this and I still have some more painting to do. But I think I'll start the third one this week, and that'll be the Belarussian one. Marlin
I'm still nursing my cold, so it's better that I stay at home than passing it on to my colleagues. I got some more work done on the Algerian Mitten yesterday. Almost all ordnance is finised, I still have two R73 missiles to mount on to the pylons. 123 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The dual 23mm cannon was glued in place. 124 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The rocket pods as well. 125 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Today I've got the canopy and some antennas and other small bits to work with, but then I think this one will be ready for the display cabinet. Marlin
Hi. It's time for the next Mitten. 132 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And this time we return to the eastern parts. A Belarussian Mitten in what I'd like to call a "Birchforrest camo" 133 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And then my friendly neighbour knocked on the door. 134 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 135 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 8 liters of fresh chantrelles. So yesterday evening was spent with a paring knife instead of a hobbyknife. To be continued..... /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. I'd just like to announce that the build of the Belarussian Mitten has started. All parts have been primed to day, and I've glued the seats together. 136 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr To be contimued...... /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. When I build a Yak-130 one of the subsections I'd like to finish first are the intakes and the part around them. The intakes are to be painted white, and that takes a bit of time to brush. After I built the first one I discovered that most, if not all, part can glued together before painting. 137 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And that's the parts I glued yesterday evening. Marlin
Hi, My building time is dwindling and just now everything seems to take forever to do. But I try to do something every evening, if it just a part or two. The intake package are slowly taking form at the moment. 138 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And soon I think I can start to paint all inner surfaces white.
