PS What grade sandpaper did you use and di you find it easy to get?  I don't see wet and dry finer than 1200 grade in the shops.



To be honest I'm not sure.  I found it in one of my boxes and it was also used so it might have been even finer because of that.  It's very smooth though.

White Spirit is the name used in Great Britain for Mineral Spirits. It's sold as a brush cleaner and paint thinner (for oil-based enamels).
