Jonners
Righto - calling this one done: As a last bite of the fingers, the superglued upper wing aileron control horns snapped off while I was trying to attach the 'control cables' and tore the roundel decals. The touch-up looks pretty ropey; I'm sure I'll make it look better, but for now I need a change of scenery! Anyway, thanks for the encouragement. When I get a moment I'll put some pics in the RFI section. Jon

pheonix
For a first vacuform that is an excellent result - come to that it is just an excellent result all round. Very informative thread too. P
Martian
Congratulations, a very fine effort, more so when one considers that it is your first ever vacform. Martian 👽
stevehnz
I came late to this but am none the less impressed as heck at what you've done with this, a lovely piece of modelling & a great result. Steve.
Marklo
Beautiful job. Makes me want one of my own (but in 1/48 of course) Me and my typing I of course meant 1/48 not 1/8 However if I were ever to win the lottery I think I'd probably go build some WWI types in 1/1 scale.
