Hi Guys,

fuselage and cockpit glued ...
I lost so many engraved, many to correct
the general line of engines is excellent

 

at the end of each job I always spray the tamiya primer gray ...
almost certainly I will engrave the primer

I inserted a copper rod into the nose bay wheels, in order to unload the weight evenly and not on the glued part... 🤔

Hi Guys,

besides starting to engrave the new lines, I used aluminum adhesive sheets to simulate the anti-blasting plates

replaced the heat shield with brass sheets

I also glued the engine nacelles to the fuselage and putty whit milliput

 

next step, primer on the whole fuselage

How did you bend the brass sheet for the heat shields? Just pressed on in place or pre-bent in some way?

I made a paper template ...
I cut the brass plate
engraved and riveted
then put in place ...
