If you get the chance to look at real boats you'll notice the tide line on the antifouling is rarely parallel or level with the top of the antifouling. A mix of earthy tones was dabbed around with a ratty almost dry brush. Thanks for your kind comments/likes folks. longshanks
Random pic for today, Double Glazing I used slightly thinned PVA wood glue. Left 1st stage. Right in the process of wick off the excess glue with a dry brush. Forgot to take a close up of finished window but . . As suggested by @JohnWS baulk timbers toned down and tide line added Hope you approve John Next up pin washes (?) added. Pale grey, green, beige and earth Applied on a WS moistened surface and blended in with a WS dampened fan brush. Waiting to seal it with matt varnish before going further Think it's starting to look neglected ....... and now @Terry1954's apple tree wind swept gnarled autumnal tree That's all for today, thanks for dropping in Kev

Courageous
Love what you've done with that hull although I'll have to tone it down for mine. The windows in the shabby shack look pretty neat too. As for the tree, can't be @Terry1954's apple tree 'cos there's no apples on Kev's example. 56 minutes ago, beefy66 said: old and twisted Is that Terry or Kev you're referring to there Beefy? Didn't fool you for moment did I Kev, I started reading your post this morning, bleary eyed & before my morning coffee . I had a hard time trying to figure out what that thing (ribs & keel) was. In my little secluded world of warships, guns, & torpedos, it looked to me like part of an early radar antenna. Once I had a couple of drinks of coffee, the morning haze lifted & everything became clear (... well, as clear as I can be early in the morning ) Well done! Oh, and the tug's hull looks amazing too.
