fjaweijfopi4j48
Here is the completed model of this attractive and widely produced parasol monoplane in its colorful civil guise, that started over the Holidays at the in-laws under extremely harsh conditions (British food and unintelligible language). My thanks again to friend and fellow modeler Sönke Schulz, the kind donor of the kit from his Zekret Vaultz at the Volkano Lair. The aftermarket photoetched set and decals were a nice complement to the kit, that in spite of its age can still be made into a nice model. I have two more kits of this charming little thing, that I look forward to turn into companion models. It will be much easier now that I learned the tricks they need. You may visit the WIP thread in this very site here: RWD-5, RWD-6 and RWD-8: with the Praga E114b: "Sturm und Drang", the very popular duo from Volkania, cheer-up the day: Edited January 19, 2019 by Moa
Dazey
Hi Moa, Very nice. I've just looked at the WIP and the scratch-building display alone is worth the look. Regards, David
Martian
Very nice, even if you were rude about our British cooking. Martian 👽

Vesa Jussila
I was following WIP thread with great interest and result is lovely. I didn't dare take any kit with me when visiting with parents in law. 1

Well, a few years ago we went to Kitchin in Edinburgh, Scotland. Now that was a very good meal. I will say no more. Another thing I learned in that trip: Pubs are places to drink*, not to eat. *If you can endure room temperature beer, that is. (After the mention of how much I like Heller over Airfix and now this, I think this time I may be sacked 😨

Ah, so while I admire your modelling I'd have to disagree on this point, Moa. Clearly you've been to the wrong pubs! The UK has gone through a renaissance in food and cookery over the past years and can stand its own against any other...... And cold beer...... Nah! . Tasteless coloured water..... That’s the stuff I was trying to enjoy drinking in Uruguay! Spot on! You do realise, of course, that your outlaws will never be inspired to produce anything other than an “undifferentiated mass” for dinner if you spend your time with them producing superb models instead of superb food?
