hsr
I was asked in the Rumormonger subforum to post pictures of the sprues for my newly arrive Modelcollect B-52H kit. Since it is no longer a rumor I didn't think it appropriate to post them there so I figured I would post them here. This is not a review, I find in the box reviews to be less then useful, so they are posted without comment, and in no particular order, for your modelling enjoyment. Where there are duplicate sprues I stacked them so you could see how many. There sure are a lot of them. 7
Sabrejet
Many thanks for posting: I'm sure this will make an impressive model. I dare say the aftermarket will serve it very well too. I'll wait til I see one assembled and painted before saying anything else (or at least that's what I say now!)
hsr
There are 2 more kits (one of which I don't even have yet) I want to build before this one so I should get started on it in a month or so
Learstang
Thank you very much posting these pictures! The moulding looks good to these old eyes. Even though I have a 1/72nd scale B-52G already completed, I have a feeling one of these B-52 kits will eventually find its way into my stash. I'd still like a B-52H with the Vulcan tail cannon. hsr
I have the old Monogram kit built as a D version in Viet Nam war colors. I wanted a turbofan version with the latest updates.
DaveJL
Thanks for posting, looks very good. Just have to wait until it's available in the UK then wait for the HSABs to make an appearance.

DaveJL
Allan beat me to it! They allow for carriage of bombs under the wings; as far as I can see, the kit only comes with cruise missiles. The BUFF can carry 6x 2000lb GBU-31 JDAMs on each, to list another example. Modelcollect have stated (on a thread over on ARC) that they will release a set of the HSABs along with a targeting pod and pylon.
hsr
OK. It looks like Buffmaster Designs makes these for the Monogram, AMT and Italari kits. Shouldn't be too hard to adapt for this kit.
ElectroSoldier
He will be making sets for it but modelcollect will be releasing something worth waiting for to do with its weapons i believe

tony.t
Thanks for posting the sprue shots - much appreciated. Looks like the turbojet pods are included as unused, plus G (maybe not complete) as well as H (with rotary cannon) rear ends. Interested to know if the inner faces of the flap parts have any detail. If I build one of these it's got to be a wrinkly black bellied D from the 1974 Bomb Comp or the overall gloss white G that flew from Edwards for a while. Cheers Tony

There are several sprues in the box that are not listed in the instruction. These include a second set of the G engines and tail. 1 hour ago, tony.t said: Interested to know if the inner faces of the flap parts have any detail. Yes they are.
