  • Homebee changed the title to 1/48 - de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide/Dominie by Armory Models Group - 3D renders

It’s going to need .............

a set of three resin figures. David Suchet’s Hercule Poirot character, Captain Hastings and an Inspector Japp. Perhaps with detained bad guy at Croydon Airport as he was about to flee justice to the Continent and 1930’s police car !  There’s a diorama for someone :D

Or the wide bodied version as seen in that TV add for some insurance outfit or whatever😉

Superb !!!    BUT we still need a decent one in 1/72nd to replace the old Heller kit that has served so well.

OK, that's the market for 1:32 Rapides well and truly covered.

Now, would someone PLEASE do a 1:32 (or any other scale, for that matter) DH.84? The Dragon had its own charm, and there were enough of them in service around the world  to give a wide selection of markings ...

Looks really nice.
But I'm hoping that someone will make the D.H.90 in 1/48. The way overlooked little sister of the D.H.89

And the prettiest of the family too.

I have been in contact with Armory and they said " - we lost one of our workshops in Kharkiv, which prepared molds for us. But anyway, we expect the release of the model in the 1st Quarter 2023.
