Camouflages & Marques de L'Aviation Français 1939-1945

By the late (and much lamented) Christian-Jacgues Ehrengardt for Caractère, the book many have been waiting for.  Yes, it is in French, not this shouldn't prove too much of a problem as it is full of aviation terms.  You are not trying to read Proust, Le Figaro nor Le Canard Enchainé.  If you've no experience at all then a small dictionary will help with the "little words" and the odd "faux amis/false friends" - French words that look like the English but don't quite mean the same.  But lets face it - you're only after the photos and profiles anyway.

e.g "Marques" does not mean makes of car, but "markings".  And even in English it does not mean "Marks" as in variants of aircraft!
