Colin W
After all the uncertainty I decided to do the Patrolle de France scheme. Looks good in red. Colin
Colin W
I quite like the red above but now masked and returned to the natural metal finish. I had to remove the tail when I discovered that the chosen scheme has the tricolor rudder which the kits decals do not provide. This was masked and painted in the usual manner. Just the decals and canopy to finish. Colin

Colin W
Well Sacre Blu, cest fini. As they might say in France. It took me more than a week proposed by Col but I did it under a month. Home made decals went on well. Roundals and ejection triangles from the spares box and I used a few kit decals for stencils. Pitot is brass rod in brass tube drilled into the wing since its so big. I'll take some more pics in daylight and post in the gallery. Colin

Colin W
One of the classic fighter jets of the 1950s now complete. Final touches include the radar, camera and vent in the intake centre with the nose mounted aerial from carbon fibre rod. Thanks for the comments above as well as to Col for moderating.
