Roodie Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) Hey all, thank you for letting me in 🙂  About myself: I'm a 42 years old programmer. During high school, I was an avid modeller, although lacking skill and enough patience; I assembled and painted mostly 1/72 helicopters and some Soviet jets using cheap oil paints with questionable results, but I was enthusiastic nonetheless, until a sad day when my parents let my cousin's kid play in my room (I wasn't home) - and of course he tried if any of the planes can fly. Well, they didn't...  That event was such a shock that for 20+ years I only painted models for tabletop wargaming. But a few weeks ago I decided that I feel confident enough to restart my interest in scale modeling - and my kid is old enough to undertand that a single scratch on one of my planes will mean a week without the laptop, so...
