Cooper645
Google has proved no use and I have had no joy searching the forum. Anyone know now of any 1/24 scale commercial transporter trailers. Or is it likely to have to be scratch built? Was thinking about different ways to start displaying models. Any leads or advice is appreciated. i look forward to any responses. JeroenS
Ah right, the big stuff. Like this? https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-85-1509-auto-transport-trailer--940581 It's 1/25, not what you would like. Apparently no 1/24 kits available. Cooper645
Really limited market but there appear to be a couple of options available. Will look into the super dolphin, as there was a rebox in 2015. Thanks for for your help. It’s very much appreciated Edited January 9, 2019 by Cooper645
JeroenS
No problem! I hope you can find something to your liking. Scratching one of these would be a serious challenge 🙂
Cooper645
I have found a super dolphin and ordered from a Czech shop online. £85 inc shipping. Bargain as there is one on amazon for over £1000 😂

Cooper645
Just to update those who stop by, I received my package yesterday. I ordered from MN modelar, they are a shop in the Czech Republic. Excellent shipping time and the product was very well packaged. I can recommend them if your after something obscure. Thanks for all the pointers for kits. Don't plan on starting this jst yet, but keep an eye out in the build threads, it wil pop up one day. Cooper645
No problem @Admiral Puff I hope it helps direct a passer by towards a kit they may want. Im sure they were out of stock when I was looking as I see that it is a restock. Coops
richellis
I’ve been looking at that kit, how detailed is the tractor unit? Is it a good kit or a bit basic?
Noel Smith
Pretty sure that AMT did a commercial one way back in the 60's in 1/25th scale. Hope this helps. The Japanese one in an earlier post looks a good bet. There is a single vehicle trailer from South Eastern Finecast and MotoBitz makes some resin stuff to semi scratch build one from plastic card.
