Dimiter
And here there is something unusual A nice little Soviet prototype fighter from the 40s'. I love early jets, especially the experimental ones, the "Real Stuff" As a postscript - just after I took the photos, I had to remove the stars from the wings as there appears to be no photo evidence of such, on the contrary - guys from Russian forums explained that this type and some other early Yakovlev jet prototypes never had stars on the wings. ForestFan
Interesting! Not the prettiest aeroplane, nicely built though
Vulcanicity
Not something you see every day! An excellent build and kudos for risking that lovely natural metal finish to remove the stars - 10/10 for devotion to accuracy!
Dazey
Nice model of an interesting type. It must have been quite big? Regards, David

Quite the opposite, it is rather small Thanks for that. It just seemed, based on the size of the canopy and seat, that it would have been smaller than a MiG-15 or F-86. John R
The canopy is in fact too small. The Prop & Jet version got it right as they also did for the markings. John
