Michael M
Before putting the cruiser in, I had to shallow the waters a bit, they went of the wire somewhere along the way and with our little hero in. For now wet PVA works as foam, but it'll do only untill it dries Time for playing with cotton....
Courageous
What medium have you used for your water? How have you shaped it? Looking great by the way. Stuart

Stuart My thoughts exactly. Beautifully done. And my apologies - I felt certain that I had complimented the original build (But I hadn't) It's a really super job Rob
Michael M
Thanks. It's the oats method, but I didn't use CA to freeze it, I soaked the oats with humbroll Matt lacquer, for which I hadn't any use for years. After they clogged together a bit I loaded it with more lacquer from aerosol, some automotive one. When it dried I sanded it a bit, then added two layers of printer paper soaked with PVA and dabbed to shape with a brush. Then paint job and two liquitex products, thick medium and thin high gloss. That's just my second stab at it, first one is on previous page. It's far from perfect, but the method has a potential for improvement. When I think of it, it's not really Ready for inspection..... At all haha 1

Michael M
That would be about it, I need to build some kind of frame around it now... With ridiculously pathetic smoke, it went down the drain straight after taking this photo Thanks for following

Bugle07
Excellent water and wake, really well done. And I agree the smoke should disappear, not really sure if there's an alternative to create the effect? Geoff
