Carlosee1974 Posted January 6, 2019 Share Posted January 6, 2019 Inspired by a thread I’ve seen in here about the old airwing on HMS ARK ROYAL, I’ve got a Phantom FG.1, a couple of Wessex’ and I’ve just bought the sword 1/72 scale Gannet AEW, looks like a great kit and I’m looking forward to it. id love to make it folded wing, but has anyone ever tried mating the airwaves wing fold photo etch which is for the Revell kit with this (sword) kit? Orion Posted January 9, 2019 Share Posted January 9, 2019 Hello Carlosee, I think that is not done before. There is a wing dimension difference in these two types. I would advise you to make the incision on the wings and take it from there. If not completely feasible with Airwaves, you can make the missing parts from Evergreen. or Plastruct.
