TEXANTOMCAT
Just now, AMB said: I bit late in the wake of the A-Model Jetstream kits. Also, can't make a RAF Jetstream from the Airfix kit as the tooling has Garrett engines, so schemes will be limited. I know, I've built the Amodel one. The Airfix model also has the two part door. But a Jetstream kit for just over 1/3 of the price of the Amodel one and about £30 less than the kits seemed to have been going for on ebay is a result! Am also glad I offloaded my Dominies late last year!

The 1/72 seems to have dissapeared. Just checked their website under Our Next Projects and both 1/48 & 1/72 versions are still listed with the caption "3D model kit design preparing". Alongside a few other tantalising items - including 1/32 F-111A/E and 1/48 Bristol Blenheim IV. Bring 'em on I say - the more the merrier and in any case we still need a new 1/48, although no breath being held here. Rich
Mike
I just knew there wouldn't be anything for me, as I only build 1:24 milk bottles of the world. Typical Airfix, missing out on a largely untapped market! I quite fancy a Tiger Moth in 1:48 if I can get an adult to do the rigging for me, and I seem to have somehow forgotten that they'd already released their new 1:48 Hunter 4

ho590hm
Two 1:144 Concordes listed - one identified as a prototype - with same prototype image, different kit numbers (A05107V and A05170V - anagram) and same dimensions in the technical specification. The quoted length is correct for the production version..... Does this mean Airfix is rerunning both of its tools? RichG
It looks like the initial Airfix Buccaneer will be an FAA bird; I can live with that. They had them first after all... From the CAD imagery it looks like there will be options for folding wings and open airbrakes too. Good news - I had thought that some adverse comments about the number of options (!) and "complexity" in the Phantom FG.1 / FGR.2 kit might have put them off going down this route. Clearly not. Giorgio N
The 1/48 Hunter F.4 is no bad news either, not unexpected but still good to see. There are a lot of reboxes, some of kits that is nice to see around again and others of kits that would have better been forgotten (like the SM.79). At least these older tools are sold at relatively low prices
Jon Kunac-Tabinor
Pleased to see my source was right about the 1/48th Tiggie! And the small bore straight wing Hunter F4/5 is a nice addition to the family. The Spit we knew about anyway - which is good because it looks lovely. fightersweep
Quite happy with that lot, especially some of the older kits that I expect will be in the Classic Range. Happy to see the Hs-123, Demon, Bulldog, Dominie and Jetstream again....some of which I won't have to pay silly prices for again and get new decals! Bonus. Glad to see the SM-79 back as well. Happy for the Buccaneer fans, and the 1/48 Tiger Moth is a good call too! And I want that Hellcat!!!
