hadzi
I work on the Matchbox Wellesley and will built M4723 ex L2657 at Heliopolis Egypt in 1944. My question is, which paint I have to used: 1. Dark Earth + Dark Green + Trainer Yellow? 2. Dark Earth + Midle Stone + Trainer Yellow? .
Martian
Judging by the contrast in black and white pictures, I would be leaning towards Dark Earth and Stone for the upper surfaces. Martian 👽

Graham Boak
I suspect it depends upon just what year you are thinking of modelling, and by the time it was a maintenance airframe the scheme could be almost anything. It will have begun in Dark Green and Dark Earth over Night, but presumably at some stage the Dark Green will have been overpainted with the Mid Stone, or possibly Light Earth. I don't think that Mid Stone was vailable at the start of the war, so Light Earth is likelier for photos taken in 1939 or 1940.
