The Spadgent
Good morning everyone. The light in the cave was lovely this morning so I managed to get a few RFI shots of my last build of 2018. She was a fun little build, something to bring me down after that Cra?Zy Lancaster. She is pretty much OOB with some belts added to add a little detail. Paints used were Tamiya acrylic, And top coats. I used Tamiya weathering pigments and Flory washes. The aerial line was made using Ezy line. Overall a fab little build that I could highly recommend.🙂 I hope I have done it justice and I sincerely hope you had fun following along if you did. Here is the WIP thread. Without further ado please let me bring you. The Airfix Grumman Wild Cat in 1/72 AAAAAAnnnnd that as they say is your lot. I hope you like her and my 2018 contribution to our Lovely site. My 2018 yearbook can be found HERE And my first build for 2019 can be found HERE Thank you all for your time, eyes and comments. Its been great. All the best and as always. Happy Modelling. Johnny.🤗 Edited January 4, 2019 by The Spadgent
Mark Joyce
Very nice Wildcat, Johnny, and the weathering looks great! I always like to see one built with the wings folded. Cheers, Mark

hurricane39
That is truly stunning. Great detail when one considers the scale and the diminutive size of the Wildcat.
