Corsairfoxfouruncle
Layers of Tamiya tape cut to the correct length/width then painted ? Should be flexible enough. That might be convincing enough through the limited windows of the Revellogram Heavies. BushBrit66
That's a reasonable idea Dennis. Having said I don't like etch, It could be combined with Reheat ammo belts? Any other ideas out there? Cheers Sean
Doom3r
On some other forum in the tread about building UH-1C (I think it was 72nd scale) somebody was scratchbuilding ammo belts by wrapping 0.17mm copper wire around the base made out 3 soldered copper wires of bigger diameter (0.2 if I remember right). On the pictures it looked good so I am thinking about trying same technique when building my Frog as well. Edit: Good that I am bookmarking such things (it is in Russian). Here is the description of how it was done: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25058&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=100 Page with the pictures: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25058&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=80 https://radikal.ru/lfp/s61.radikal.ru/i173/1010/80/5b64e4ec7c51.jpg/htm Edited January 3, 2019 by Doom3r

Corsairfoxfouruncle
Both the copper/solder and zip ties seem and look like good ideas. Thanks i will bookmark the ideas for myself.
