Do you imagine Tamiya releasing a G-6AS in 48 and 72?
AaCee26
It would be lovely! With current fuselage mouldings I'd bet G-14 without AS-engine. Cheers, AaCee

Cheers, AaCee Was going to comment they'd need to retool the fuselage to make room for the taller tail, but I remembered I have Hartmann's 109G-14, and that it has a short tail. vppelt68
Drooling 🙂 . I believe I´m not the only one to have leftover AZmodel high tails and Erlas to craft a late model G-6 or -14 out of these. With the canopy in open position there shouldn´t be any problems apart from removing the front part from the AZm part and the tail follows nearly the same parting line... maybe a bit of shimming or filing away, and a piece of plastic in the lower front edge, but... I can´t wait to get my hands on these! V-P

So this version of kit will have both tail and canopy versions? EDIT: Found a picture of J-706 with old style canopy Cheers, AaCee Edited June 25, 2019 by AaCee26 Ne info about J-706 canopy

Sometimes the distributors add local decal schemes to the normal box for sale in their own country. I'd bet anything this is a case of that.
