Matt_
Got the Revell boxing of the 1:2700 Star Destroyer for Christmas. Wondering what are the best options for detail parts are? So far I have found the Falcon resin sets for engine bells and hanger, and the Green Strawberry resin and PE sets. Anyone have thoughts on which of these are worth looking at, or whether there are some other options?
mekon
Have the Falcon 3d parts sets and they are excellent as is the Greenstrawberry etch. There are a few options for lighting but I went with Falcon 3d parts and again I'm quite happy with the choice I made.
Toadwbg
Just getting started on mine. I wound up getting a few items from Shapeways as I don't enjoy working with photoetched. I'm specifically modeling Vader's Imperial I Star Destroyer from ANH as it overtakes the Tantive IV Falcon 3D parts 308 bits Cosmos models This is my favourite item, really stands out: https://www.shapeways.com/product/NJ4SDHL64/star-destroyer-zvesda-devastator-turrets?optionId=63822547&li=marketplace Edited January 11, 2019 by Toadwbg
