Bf 109 dual build, picture heavy

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon to you all, hope you've all had a good Christmas! :)

I thought I would share my latest builds that were finished yesterday. Earlier in the year I picked up this for a good price and felt the need to build them straight away:

65349253-1397-4-D49-9-A6-B-893-B22-F67-B

Both went together without any effort. They were both OOB builds and the only deviation I made was to leave the nose caps off the fuselage until after painting was finished in order that I could pop the exhausts in at the end rather than having to do a lot of masking. Mr Paint was used for the RLM 78 and 79 with all other colours being Tamiya.  A Mig blue grey wash was used over the 78 and Tamiya brown panel line wash over the 79. Here is the first one;

Both look beautiful builds Howard. I have a number of these Eduard F/G kits in the stash - I really must get to building some of them and you have inspired me.

Cheers

Malcolm
