Plasto
Hi, Here is what I got up to in 2018... Quite a few projects underway and a few finished. First up the Mania / Hasegawa Ki-27 Nate in 1/48 Thus is the first of the ‘wunder kits’ featuring fine recessed detail and great fit all from a 1970’s tooling. Next up was a modern Wunderkit.. The Tamiya Ki-61 in 1/48 It’s everything a modern Tamiya kit is supposed to be... Next was a visit to an older kit that doesn’t get much love. Revells’s 1/48 F-86D. I think this was originally slated to be a Monogram release either way it is a fine kit and builds into a nice model. More obscurity followed with a build of the 1/48 Accurate Minatures Yak 1. The middle part of the year was full of 1/32 projects none of which is 100% completed.. So I stepped out if that with a build of the 1/48 Academy TA-183 Huckebein. With the new Tamiya Spitfire Mk1 with us I thought I’d say farewell to a fine kit that started the shake n bake kit revolution with a build of the old tool Tamiya 1/48 Mk1 Spitfire.. Finally I finished off what was a fun build of a large jet in the shape of the 1/48 Revell / Monogram F-102A Case x. Proof that an oldie can be a goodie. Thanks for having a look.. Cheers Plasto
