woody37
If I graph my output over the last 3-4 years and extrapolate the findings, 2019 will result in zero output! That's worrying so I need to do more OOB stuff next year...although have an FM Halifax awaiting a barking modeller to build it! Anyway only two builds crossed the line this year although it was the most intense modelling I've done to date. 1/48 Paragon 1/48 Manchester - Tamiya Lanc conversion A nice build and relatively straight forwards as conversions go, this was a tribute to Leslie Manser who went down with his aircraft to allow his crew to get out on the 30th May 1942 earning him his posthumous VC 1/48 Sanger Stirling Hot off the bench, the most challenging build I've undertaken. This one is a tribute to Ron Middleton who in similar heroic circumstances lost his life to save most of his crew on his 29th mission to Turin on 29th November 1042. Again, he was awared a posthumous VC Happy new year ya all, here's to a more productive 2019 Cheers Neil 34

AdrianMF
Splendid! I feel the urge to build a Manchester coming on, and I blame you! The Stirling was a magnificent build too, complete with the upside-down wings and soldered undercarriage. Regards, Adrian
Retired Bob
Very impressive builds, If I had two models that good I would be happy. Both are great tributes.
Newbie(kinda)
Stunning. Both of them. But the Manchester is just gorgeous! I can't help looking at it and thinking 'someone really thought 2 engines would be enough?'. And then wonder at the crews who had the guts to get up there in them.

Grey Beema
Really brilliant work, congratulations. I always think it is more satisfying when added to the build, you have to do the research behind the crew and the aircraft. The result you have delivered is truely amazing..

Regards, Adrian I know you’d do a cracking job on a Manchester so I’ll be getting my popcorn stocked up ready! On 1/2/2019 at 9:50 PM, Newbie(kinda) said: Stunning. Both of them. Cheers Tony Ha ha, there were times I was losing the plot on the Stirling but it’s nice to look on it now and not work on it! Making a box at the weekend to keep it in before someone knocks it off the bench 😱 cheers
