Ready for Battle

Although the Gresley Coaches remain very much a work in progress, I thought I would return to the drawers of shame rather than start a new build.

 

These have been sitting there for some time

 

 

Sorry for the small picture but these are the vehicles from the Airfix "Ready for Battle" set. The Hurricane was completed some time ago. So it's abut time the vehicles (and people) joined it. I actually bought this from Bure Valley Models in Norfolk when they regularly sold heavily discounted Airfix kits and I paid less for the entire set than the current price of the Albion Refueller.

Just realised that KUTA only has about a week to run. Having wasted time on my other entry,  thought I post a picture of the current state of this build

 

 

I think I am on the final stretch and hopefully this one will reach the gallery.

For various reasons the decals will not be applied before the end of the GB. Therefore as everything is glued and pained I have placed the current state in the gallery and claim it as complete.. Once the temperature goes back into double (positive) figures and I move back to my garage workspace the various elements + hurricane will join in a diorama.

Well done on completing the figures and vehicles Paul, I look forward to seeing the finished set-up when the Swallows start to arrive.
