Su-22UM3 Polish Air Force KH 1:48

Recommended Posts

Kitty Hawk models are always difficult for me.
The way they are cut is completely pointless - I have the impression that it comes to information on the box that there are so many parts.
Aerodynamic brakes are made in the open version if you want to close them you will have a lot of work, etc.
However, sometimes there is no way out and you have to make a model that is not perfect.

Su-22UM Kitty Hawk 1:48 made straight from the box in a very difficult painting.
I cut the decals and applied them over 20 hours.
The effect looks like this:

Well.....all your hard work paid off, anyway.

Well Done, Sir !

I agree that Kittyhawk do tend to over-engineer their kits although this is often necessary to produce the different variants. I can do without open panels, air brakes etc if they do not fit in the closed position. It can be done (Great Wall Hobby have proved this) but Kittyhawk have a way to go yet.
