Airfix Sunderland Mk111 from a battered box

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Here is my entry to this GB

An old Airfix Sunderland in a battered box due to laying around my stash for over 30 years

The kit decals are beyond help but I have replacements . Hope to start new Years Day

Hi All

Well finally got some bench time  . Portholes fitted with Clearfix . Flight deck ready for crew . The plan ( I know I shouldn't plan anything ) is for this lady to be displayed on the step . Question were gunners in position during take off? Hope to push this one along . As usual comments always welcome Thanks for looking in

No. All non flight-deck crew had a special seating area - it was part of the galley - to sit in until after rotation. They moved to their stations during climb out.
