colin
August onwards for release by the looks, hope it's for real, their other new 1.48 have been very good value Seems ICM are planning a lot of new 1/32 & 1/48 releases, but very little in the way of info anywhere, hope their not doing a Trumpeter 😀
28ZComeback
The Invader has some very subtle curves and contours in the fuselage that Monogram totally missed in 1993. The nose just looks wrong. I hope ICM does more than recycle the old Mono kit—I will buy 5-6 if it’s a new tool. Great news
B.sin
I would like too see a Yak-141/Yak-41in 1/48th scale.

The Tomohawk Kid
I’m confused about this proposed kit, the Monogram kit was fine in all aspects. Tommo.
28ZComeback
For the time, (1992-1993), it was fine. But the oddly-shaped nose, the oddities in the fuselage below the canopy and other issues (such as raised lines) make it “a project” for a serious modeler. 2

It was, but same with the He 111, the monogram kit was good, but ICMs kit is light years ahead. I hope this is as good as other ICM new kits

GRIM REAPER
Working my way through the Monogram kit, myself. Full rescribe. Although a nice kit, some parts really don't fit too well. I closed the bomb bay doors on mine, and it required shims to close it up. If ICM does a good job with the detail and fit of the parts, I'll happily buy a couple. VMA131Marine
Hopefully they will follow this series all the way through to the B-26K Counter Invader. 6
GRIM REAPER
Yes! Would love to have the counter invader as well! Currently, there is only one flyable example they can study. I'm sure the guys that maintain and operate it would be glad to have them over! Edited December 27, 2018 by GRIM REAPER

Apparently ICM starts new activity - production of decal sets in 1/48. Please note the description of "H..." web page and also code : ICMD48001 - so this is No 1 in 1/48 (D for decals) etc. However the two last ones links are to kits. Scimitar F1
About time too! Three major conflicts plus a host of smaller ones, some excellent schemes and variants. Not to mention a really cool shape. They are going to sell loads!

SleeperService
A release as pleasing as it is surprising. One of those items that find you thinking 'Why didn't I think of that?' As well as the nose there's something not right about the wing position and the relationship between components at the back on the Monogram kit. I have read that the fuselage cross-section is off but have not got a kit to check. I've just deleted my auction site searches. Based on recent kits from ICM I think it will be worth the wait. Their quality has come on rapidly and they've tended to be pretty accurate as well.

That's it there sleeper The quality of ICM kits has improved so much that their kits are being re boxed by so many other brands. Their ju-88 has been reboxed by Revell, Special Hobby and even Hasegawa. I've built two of their Ju-88 kits in 1/48 scale and they were a joy to build, I've got their mig-25(revell boxing) and their he-111 and they look amazing in the box. I think by fare they are the most improved brand in the hobby at the moment and I would rate their new kits higher than brands like Revell, Airfix and Hasegawa with only the new Tamiya stuff better.

Totally agree..... Further, I'm really looking forward to the advent of a new Douglas A-26 Invader family. Having had my hopes dashed with the Must Have ! kit (which turned out to be a re-popped Monogram-Revell kit with engraved lines and the same inaccuracies as the original) I am very pleased to see this appear in ICM's release programme for 2019 - Personally, one of the most exciting pieces of news in recent years, up there with the Airfix Hunter, Tamiya F-14 and Spitfire Mk I, Great Wall Hobby F-15 Family and ICM's very own MiG-25 Foxbat family. I'm further encouraged by the fact that ICM, like GWH, will quickly correct obvious errors after initial release so if there are any issues (and I suspect there will not) I have every confidence we will get a long-awaited state-of-the-art kit of this Douglas classic. Hooray !

Tommo. Sorry about missing that point and if my response seemed snarky it was not meant to be, I think in 2019 the monogram A-26 con certainly be improved upon, just the engraved panel lines alone will be a vast improvement, The a-26 was a real shame in 1993 it was anachronistic on release as most other model companies had stopped using raised details and just a year or two later monogram would start releasing much higher quality kits like the catalina, ju 52, he 111, me 410, me 110 and do 217 .
