Finnish MIG-15 UTI Mukula

Hi everyone!

this is my subject for this edition of KUTA GB.
I started the Eduard's kit some months ago, abandoned it for a long time, and now i think is right occasion to finish the model.
I would like to rapresent one of the four Finnish MIG-15UTI in service as a trainers for MIG-21 fleet, Eduard provide very high quality decals for MU-2 (mukula, chubby in Finnish) airframe.

Kit is awesome but not very easy to put together, careful works are needed to assembly wings to fuselage and for the lower front section.

 

This is the starting point: i finished plastic works on the fuselage and wings, i must rescribe some panel lines and rivets before primer.

So, i'm ready to use Alclad black primer to prepare a good base for matallic paints.

After some tests, i decided to use Alclad White alluminium for entire surface and a mix of polished alluminium and airspeed alluminium to overpaint some panels, according with real Mukula pics.
