SoftScience
Does the Academy version of the Accurate Miniatures B-25G also include the parts needed to build the -D version?
72modeler
It appears that it does- see the link below. Not my scale, but one of our 1/48 modelers who has this boxing can confirm. SoftScience
I'd like to build the C/D strafer version. I might go with Airfix's kit instead, and just find the gun packs.

The Italeri PBJ-1D kit also came with the same style gun pack as well as a Mk XII torpedo and rack. I'd gladly give you the packs from my kit, but gave them up just a while ago to a buddy who's doing a strafer B-25C the hard way- cross kitting a Hasegawa B-25J and an Italeri B-25C/D! SoftScience
Not really switching, since I work in 48 and 72. Indiscriminately, like some sort of scale barbarian 1

The original Accurate Miniatures release was a conversion set to use on the standard B-25 kit so unless Academy have removed the clear parts they should all be there, and from the online reviews it seems as if they have the basic B25 kit in the box. This may help as well https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/b-25g-shark-mouth-1-48-academy.47491/ Edited December 22, 2018 by Charlie Hugo
fernandocouto
Academy rebox B-25G has a huge sprue of clear parts. Even a tail gun port, I'll try to build a PBJ-1D
