Hamza_b
Hi Everyone, I am trying to gloss coat Alclad high shine airframe aluminium. I first tried the Tamiya XF-86 Flat clear. The results weren't that great. Hoping that the mig ammo products will be any good I then bought and tried the Mig Ammo Lucky Matt Varnish - Gloss. Unfortunately, the airbrush refused to spray it. On inspection it turned out that the Matt Varnish is actually quite thick and sticky to touch. This completely throws me off for how people can spray it straight away as the directions say. From experience please advise do you guys thin this Matt Varnish? It says either water or AMig2000 can be used. Please advise best way to thin this product and do share if its even worth spraying it over Alclad high shine (please note I am not after a high sheen). Thanks for the help.
