fatalbert
Hi guys,I dug one of the above out of the stash as I have always liked this little tank ever since makeing the matchbox kit, have been doing a bit of research on it and I have read that the lovely interior detail is wrong for a british Machine. Is there a an easy way to improve it or am I looking at a total scratch build job.Any advice would be very welcome. Many thanks Neil
JackG
Don't have the kit, but after reading some posts over at Missing-lynx (they like to scrutinize things over there) - er well of what little there is, the interior is wrong. The kit itself has some shape and dimensional issues on both the turret and hull, and some believe it's actually a copy of the very much older Tamiya (1974) boxing. That would explain why a lot of the bolt detail ended up looking like rivets. So if that is the case, you might want to get the Accurate Armour Stuart M3A1 Conversion/correction , which includes an interior as well as a new turret and hull top: https://accurate-armour.com/aa-products/135th-conversion-sets/c061 regards, Jack
