Because there has always a 109 to be in work, my dad started already a new one after the Czech Avia.

Gonna be a G-4 that has been captured by the SAAF on Sicily in 1943.

Nice work so far. This one certainly looks different from the usual 109 we see.

My only experience with Rising Decals was that they were brittle and needed considerable care to get the best from.

That´s the problem my dad faces now. One of the "AX" codes dissolved in the water....this sheet isn´t produced anymore but found one at Misterkit, already on the way.

Hope this sheet is of better quality. I've also just found and read through the progress your dad is making with the Hasegawa kit to produce the 401 Sqn. machine :speak_cool:

We hope too 😄

My dad used Rising Decals some time ago for a SEAC P-47 and had no problems, even the checkered ones for the cowl ring went on fine.
