Hi All.

Here is my freshly completed AModel Caravelle in SATA.

Decals by 26Decals (of course) and all paints from rattle cans.

Elegant model of this shapely machine!

Incidentally, the very first aircraft I ever flew in, an SAS Caravelle from Stockholm Bromma to Rome. Many years ago… 😉

Beautiful modelling!

Kind regards,

Joachim

Very tasty indeed Ray.  👍

First AModel Caravelle that I've seen complete or otherwise, so your impressions of the kit would be appreciated.

All the best.

Chris.

Didn't expect this... Great job , well done . That Jet was originally with  Swissair in the 60s .

Nice backdrop too .

Inspirational stuff Ray.

:thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

I'm in the middle of a 10R build myself. I just hope it turns out as well as yours.

Lovely build of this famous airliner - and always good to see the Swiss cross on a model 🙂

Cheers,

Michael

Thanks for all the kind comments :)

It is a typical short run kit , the cabin window strips need a little sanding to get them to fit and a bit of a sand on the mating surfaces  but other than that a pretty straight forward build and I plan to build a couple more :)

Now what to build next........

Hi Ray,

That's a little beauty, just how I like them crisp and sharp!

What liveries are you planning for the others?

Cheers,

Ian

Thanks Ian.

Other liveries will be Transeuropa for the 10 and Aerotour for the VIN.

All from my spotting days at LGW during the 70s & 80s :)

Very nice. SATA Caravelles were quite common at Dublin in the earl;y/mid 1970s.

Excellent model for sure!

Remarkably beautiful aircraft too.

I don't think I ever saw one in Australian skies.
