If you remember right away, you will know where the idea for this model comes from. F-16A Israel Air Force. The model is F-16CG Academy 1:32 with Isra Cast modifications and additions. Models like this is a unique building for me because I try to build, models straight from the box. This one of two exceptions. The surface detailing is impressive, were the "rivets" moulded in? (I'm utterly unfamiliar with this kit) I must admit a certain disappointment that there isn't a bright orange "Hades Bomb" on the centerline station, nor does the model change from a one-seat to two-seat configuration depending on which photo I'm observing. 😀 I'm also a bit curious whether illicit copies of Iron Eagle were available for viewing east of the line before 1989 or so, if you have any memories I'd love to hear them.
