Sunstrip decals

Hi guys,

 

Wheb your applying sunstrip decals to your model car windscreens, can you still use microset? Or does it cause problems with the clear plastic?

Never had any issue with decal solutions on clear plastic parts UNLESS they were coated with something like clear acrylic, leftover polishing compound, or such like...in which case they can definitely spot. Plain plastic should be no problem whatsoever.

Never had any problems, i use them often 'cause race cars has banners on windshields. No probs

I recently had to apply decals to my Monte-Carlo Mini Cooper, both on the inside and outside. I used Mr Softer & Mister Setter on them with no problems.

You do have to clean off some residue sometimes. Just use water and a soft cloth and gently buff up the clear part. Works like magic...
