1/48 - Supermarine Spitfire F.R. Mk.XIVe by Airfix - released

Both lovely schemes, which no doubt will encourage many of us to buy at least two kits each. Blimey, I've not long built a 1/72 G-FIRE and have decals for 1/32 too, but even still, this one is tempting me. I hope we do see Airfix bring us G-FURY and G-HUNT as well at some point in the future. The cannon barrel issue is no big deal....whose going to be first to add the flashing lights that Spencer had fitted?

Not something that appeals personally, but if it's a success for Airfix I'm all for it!

Would be smashing if they did but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a special Airfix Club issue...
