But he already started a new project, doing a recon Shooting Star from the Korean War, using the Hobby Boss kit. This time it should work out 🙂 Back then my dad wanted to build a F-80 with blue nose trim. He tried to paint it and then also use decals but he didn't get a good result. The more he tried to correct it, the worse it got. Then he gave up the project. The RF version now has no demanding livery, so it should be no problem. Reini78 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Share Posted December 29, 2018 No luck with this thread 😄 After digging more into the RF-80A, my dad puts this project on ice. Should have read previews before.... HB didn´t consider that the aircraft has cameras on the right side of the nose and lower nose too, hard to correct that. Maybe someday ther will be a nose correction for the HB kit. Besides that, the A model had a WW2 style seat, HB included an ejection seat. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
