Where are we getting our Bandai AT-ST's and AT-AT's from?

I haven't looked too closely for AT-AT's yet but the cheapest Bandai 1/48 AT-ST I've found is £14.37 + £7.74 p&p (approx.) from hobby_japan on eBay.  Hopefully if the package is marked up like that then there will be no customs charges!  The disadvantages are the shipping time but that's not much of an issue for me.

I got my AT-ST and TIE Styker from japan, can't recall which store. I find its hit and miss as far as customs charges. I have orderd a few times from Plaza Hobby and somthing i get charged and other not.

The GST is charged via Hobby_Japan via their ebay store nowadays here.

As steeli said above, it's probably best to wait until the new year and get the Revell boxings. It looks like the prices will be in the same area as the Ebay imports, but you'll avoid the risk of customs.

Well, I've orderd an AT-ST from Japan as aboev so that should be customs free.

 

For the AT-AT, Amazon have the Revell rerelease on pre-order for £35.52 so I've gone for that, I can wait.

I've got a Blockade Runner coming if AP actually want to hand it over. Carded to another office other side of town and I asked to send to the local three clicks away, but no its got to go back to the state's distribution point. See them Monday arvo.

My AT-ST arrived yesterday.  Pretty quick shipping from Japan and no customs.

 

It's a bit smaller than I expected but it looks very nice indeed.  I may start it soon if my hand lets me.
