At last! - a use for Tamiya Ocean Grey! Well in my opinion, it doesn't cut the mustard as Ocean Grey but your Engine Grey looks great! Cheers Malcolm
AdriaN (MLT)
Nice. in 2009 I had built the other version, the dark blue with red and white. One of my favorite kits till this day.
Gary Brantley
Yes, yes, yes! I really like that model. As a "newish" member here, I know I've missed so many great builds and I'm always grateful to get a chance to see them on a second time around. Thanks for posting your link, and leading me to this build. I would be proud to have that one in my display case! 😀

The kit fell together I replaced the way too light star and bar with spares the kit decals are very matt and the fuselage 38 that go over the painted over camera's were a nightmare but with a touch up here and there worked, onto Monogram's 1/48 Intruder now for the GB. it's marvellous. I have to restore an old 1/72 by matchbox and I'd like to adopt your paint scheme. So, basically, the base is a metallic grey lightened a bit On 12/12/2018 at 13:11, stevej60 said: Hi folk's,another of my Grumman GB build's is Revell's re-boxing of Monogram's venerable Panther. When the kit arrived and I saw the Drone control scheme I foolishly decided to do it and now never want to see yellow paint again! Correct? I have been restoring a 1-72 matchbox and I want to reply your scheme. The yellow has been somehow darkened? Wich way? Fantastic job anyway

Bullbasket
Nice one Steve. I missed this the first time around. It's a little cracker. In a previous life, when I used to build wingey things, Panthers, Cougars and just about anything in yellow and red were always on my bench. Fantastic, thanks. But you said it would have been better to prime in white, wouldn't you? Last question: how is painted the lower parte, the belly? Same as above?

Sorry Guiseppe I'm confusing it with my recent aermacchi which was finished in orange.white primer.the undersides mirror the upper surface.
