1/48 AMK Kfir C2

Recommended Posts

So, no sooner have I finished my Fitter, and it’s straight onto to my next project.
I’ll be finishing this Kfir in the ATAC 3 grey camo scheme.
The aftermarket I will be using is an Aires resin seat, and a MasterModels pitot & AoA probe set.

I’ve also started putting together some of the sub-assemblies, fuel tanks, and pods.

very nice start!

yeah, Mirage/ Kfirs, are always welcome!

I think, the seam/ trench you filled with putty on the underside is actually correct! the original Mirage had exchangable rear bottom ends for included rocket or fuel pack!

Yeah I see what you mean. That’s easily remedied. Cheers. :)

Yeh, Ian, YEH!

Me's following. Thought the AMK kit had the machined brass pitot and AOA, like the Kinetic/Wingman Model kits?

Cheers,

Unc2

Yes, the Wingman kits have a brass pitot, but the AMK ones don’t.

Post Christmas update.
Quite a bit done.
Seat, undercarriage, stores and pylons.
Airframe was black primed, and then airbrushed with Hataka Orange Line Light Ghost Grey, Dark Camo Grey, and Gunship Grey. Some post-shading has helped vary the tones.
Aqua Gloss is applied, ready for the decals.

More work done in the Kfir over the last few days.
I've completed the post-shading, and Aqua gloss applied, and once dry, the decals followed.
The decals were sealed with more gloss, then a panel line wash was applied.
