Wee Beastie
So, no sooner have I finished my Fitter, and it’s straight onto to my next project. I’ll be finishing this Kfir in the ATAC 3 grey camo scheme. The aftermarket I will be using is an Aires resin seat, and a MasterModels pitot & AoA probe set. I’ve also started putting together some of the sub-assemblies, fuel tanks, and pods. fullsizeoutput_bf9 by ian gaskell, on Flickrfullsizeoutput_bfc by ian gaskell, on FlickrIMG_6770 by ian gaskell, on FlickrDSC_3278 by ian gaskell, on FlickrDSC_3280 by ian gaskell, on FlickrDSC_3282 by ian gaskell, on FlickrDSC_3283 by ian gaskell, on FlickrDSC_3284 by ian gaskell, on FlickrDSC_3286 by ian gaskell, on Flickr
Uncle Uncool
Yeh, Ian, YEH! Me's following. Thought the AMK kit had the machined brass pitot and AOA, like the Kinetic/Wingman Model kits? Cheers, Unc2

exdraken
very nice start! yeah, Mirage/ Kfirs, are always welcome! I think, the seam/ trench you filled with putty on the underside is actually correct! the original Mirage had exchangable rear bottom ends for included rocket or fuel pack! http://enacademic.com/pictures/enwiki/77/Mirage_III_MG_1487.jpg https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-ab&biw=1280&bih=644&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=ENcQXPHfG8TTkwWX3qiYCQ&q=kfir+underside&oq=kfir+underside&gs_l=img.3...9095.10096..10201...0.0..0.133.628.8j1......1....1..gws-wiz-img.......0i8i30.L6WsfIGy5Us#imgrc=_hW2BQxrlZPQ6M:

Wee Beastie
Made a start on the resin cockpit set. Despite it saying it’s for the Kinetic kit, I will make it fit! 😊Untitled by ian gaskell, on FlickrUntitled by ian gaskell, on Flickr
Wee Beastie
Post Christmas update. Quite a bit done. Seat, undercarriage, stores and pylons. Airframe was black primed, and then airbrushed with Hataka Orange Line Light Ghost Grey, Dark Camo Grey, and Gunship Grey. Some post-shading has helped vary the tones. Aqua Gloss is applied, ready for the decals. Wee Beastie
More work done in the Kfir over the last few days. I've completed the post-shading, and Aqua gloss applied, and once dry, the decals followed. The decals were sealed with more gloss, then a panel line wash was applied.
