phildagreek
I know that Santa is bringing me the Tamiya 1/48 Skyraider, I want to go too town on it and as part of that I want to fold the wings. Now I know Wolfpack did a wing fold set for this and the pictures I have seen make it look pretty good. But, it does seem to be rarer than rocking horse..........Does anybody know where I might find one? I have searched the obvious places to no avail. On ebay there is a reputable shop in Australia selling a couple for the Italeri kit. Any thoughts on the fit? It's £20 but if it will fit then I'll go for it, does anybody have any experience? Thanks. Phil.
CJP
Hello Phil - noticed this Wolfpack Skyraider wing fold for the Tamiya kit on this Australian online model shop - I use them often here in OZ and have had good service from them - https://www.bnamodelworld.com/model-planes-exterior-detail-sets-wolfpack-design-ww48016 CJP

fernandocouto
A copy of tamiya origin outer wing with some folding mechanism details. So Wolfpack claims it fits very good....
quangster
Hey Phil, you’d notice that in real life, the ailerons on the Skyraider are rarely in neutral position when the wings are folded. They are sagging a bit under their own weight. The question is: are you ready to cut up a solid resin wing to make the modification? Cheers, Quang
