I must admit I like Prop Blurs although I know they don't appeal to everyone. The best way to get the effect of a spinning prop is to use a motor (as I have done on a few builds) but, in this case, I didn't have the time to spend fitting one. I really don't like the prop blur! It looks like a cartoon drawing in my humble opinion. I guess this is one where beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Hi General and thank you for your comments. And not controversial at all. Some people like prop blurs - others do not. The best way to represent prob blur is with a motor - which I have done a few times - but I didn't have time during this build as I wanted to get it completed quickly - as I am co-hosting the Panzer IV STGB which started last weekend. azureglo
A little piece of modelling magic : You can achieve a better finish with plain oldΒ brushes that I can with an array of airbrushes, voodoo solvents, strong drink and prayer. FAAMAN
Nice dio with a great finish I'm not a fan of static "blurred props" as I don't think the "blurred prop" helps it takes away from the build.
stevehnz
I was another a bit unsure on the prop blur but after several revisits, I'm happy to say in this instance & dio, it works OK, its definitely grown on me. π Steve.
