STURMGESCHÜTZ IV SDKFZ.167 1/35 ITALERI.

Hi Pals, I end this model, and here are some pictures of it, alone, and with the base, later on it will be in the RTI section with all the photos I have taken.
Many thanks to those who have followed the editing and those who have taken the time to comment, and the rest for making a GB so "populous" and with so much to admire.

Greetings.

Many thanks to everyone for their kind words and support, this was my first GB and my first scale model in 37 years, but I'll definitely be back for more. Here's the build thread:

And here's a shameless plug for a thread that I hope you'll find both entertaining and informative:

Pz IVH, 130 (Panzer Lehr) Panzer Division, Normandy, summer 1944.

1/100 PSC kit, Brush painted with Vallejo, Akan and Citadel acrylics and inks. It looks truly horrible in these pics, but much better to my naked eye in real life, where it's a fraction of the size it is here.

And finally, the obligatory penny shot. On my screen that image is three times life size :o

TFL It's been fun, and I've been blown away by the quality of the builds. I definitely see some 'proper' sized armour in my future :)

 TAMIYA 1/35th

Nashorn (Rhinoceros)

WITH FRIULMODEL TRACKS

PACHYDERM PACKS A PUNCH

I built this intending it to go in a 'thawing snow diorama' and didn't want to add mud and snow to the tracks until the diorama base itself is completed. However, I did add some preliminary mud to the lower hull.

A big thanks to the organisers, to Ozzy for donating me the Nashorn and all those who supported me and put up with my slightly odd-ball techniques!

Here's the result!

And after all the rush to get the figures half-decent, I didn't use the photo of them in position as they block the view of the interior!

TFL AND THANKS AGAIN TO ALL CONCERNED. IT'S BEEN A BLAST!

REARGUARDS,

BADDER
