72modeler Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 ...or you could just open up the box on a Mach 1 kit and gaze into it until the symptoms subside! 😱 Mike
jeaton01 Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 I know this is an old thread but Wings/Airpower had a great article on the 307 including the postwar changes, one of which was to remove the pressurization systems. Peter Bowers 2 part article in September and October 1998, and one by Daniels in May 1972. 1
modelldoc Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 (edited) Come back in this old thread, because a hard work is waiting, the Maquette C-75. I'm not sure with the windows on the fuselage. busnproplinerfan Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 I just did a search on boeing c-75 and saw a photo of one with four windows on the left side, https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/c-75-boeing-307-stratoliner.26044/#lg=post-713081&slide=3 i noticed they are not the same style as the airliner version either. Not much but hopefully it helps.

modelldoc Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Thanks for the picture. I saw pictures of the C-75 with windows: https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/c-75-boeing-307-stratoliner.26044/#lg=post-713081&slide=0 This is the "Navajo" But here shows a window near the star. https://1000aircraftphotos.com/Contributions/CrupiRay/12056.htm and without windows: https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/media/boeing-c-75.8472/ This is the "Apache" Here with windows (overpainted?) http://www.airwar.ru/image/idop/cww2/c75/c75-4.jpg This is the "Comanche" Anigrand offer his 1:144 kit without windows. Confusion, some had, some not. modelldoc
busnproplinerfan Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Wonder if the replaced the glass with a sheet, but you would see the outline.
JWM Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 On 6/1/2021 at 10:41 PM, modelldoc said: I'm right? I think that C-75 had two passanger campartments, the front one was without windows (for cargo or just to sleep) and the back one had four windows. The windows on left and right sides are different in 307! This is how I di in mine Maquette C 75 Regards J-W 1
