Before the WNF G-10 Profi Pack, Eduard already released a limited Czech edition. My dad built it mostly oob, EZ Line for the antenna , brake lines added, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics. The model displays Avia C-10.21, OK-BYU, Police Air Patrol Unit, Czechoslovak Police Air Force, Prague – Ruzyne, 1947. Doc72
A fine model in an unusual paint scheme! Does anyone know why Czechoslowakia had a Police Air Force at this time (equipped with such fairly capable combat aircraft)? Some kind of internal political rivalry before the communists took over ? Armed forces controlled by the ministry of defence vs. police controlled by the ministry of the interior? I don't want to start a political discusssion, I just wonder why the police had such aircraft.

The Czech Police had air units since 1935, seems they did mostly border patrol duty back then and served also as some kind of national guard. Here´s some info about the Czech Police aviation: http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/czech/pol/czech-police-home.htm

Kitchen Modeller
Krampus is one creepy dude - spent a Christmas in Salzburg years ago and saw the Krampus festivities - felt more like Halloween than Christmas but it was all good fun. The model is great - I like the subtle use of weathering and the faded paintwork - great job.
PlaStix
Yet another beautiful aircraft from your father. Nice to see a different scheme too. Kind regards, Stix
